Stanley Casino to Open in Fountain Park in Edinburgh

Stanley Casino will open in Fountain Park, Edinburgh in the first half of 2007.

X-leisure has made the announcement that it will allow the Stanley Casino to rise in the thirty thousand square feet of Fountain Park in Edinburgh for a twenty five year lease agreement.

The 6.5 million UK Pounds Stanley casino will replace the venue formerly occupied at the basement level by Eros/Arena nightclubs.

The Edinburgh City Council had approved the gaming license to Stanley casino during the Licensing Committee Hearing last June.

The existing license from the smaller Berkeley casino was officially transferred to Fountain Park.

The Stanley Casino was allowed to hold an expansion while maintaining the three other venues in the city.

Py Gerbeau, X-Leisure CEO, said that the Stanley casino is a new and exciting offering from the Fountain Park that will add vibrance to their leisure offerings.

According to Mr. Gerbeau, Stanley casino investments shows economic confidence to Edinburgh and Fountain Park.

Fountain Park is a two hundred fifth thousand square feet leisure and tourist destination.

The park offers a twenty five thousand square foot bingo hall, forty thousand square foot health and fitness club, eighteen lane bowling center and a thirteen screen wide cinema.

The secured parking facilities can hold eight hundred twenty five cars.
